WHAT TO WEAR: Finals

When campus is eerily quiet and empty in the middle of a warm spring day, it can only mean one thing: it’s finals season. Everyone is holed up in the library with a 44 ounce cup of Wawa coffee and a granola bar, or two, to get them through. You can feel the stress when you step foot into the library or any academic building where students are doing their last minute cramming and finishing up their ten page papers.

During finals season, it’s tempting to just throw on exercise shorts and a T-shirt and call it a day, but I’m a firm believer in the fact that if you dress up, even just a little bit, you will feel ten times better and be ten times more productive. Even throwing on your favorite pair of jeans can make all the difference.

This Fashionista rocks the athletic-inspired look for finals season that will have her racing to a first place finish. She started with a basic black T-shirt, which is perfect for every outfit and goes great with her bomber jacket. Layering with a bright red scarf adds the perfect pop of color and fashionable finish to the outfit. This Fashionista added her favorite pair of jeans, which are the perfect way to stay comfortable during those long hours at the library. She finished off the look with a pair of black sneakers that are perfect for running around campus or just sitting in the library when you have a long day of studying ahead of you. They’re the perfect way to finish off an athletic-inspired outfit that will keep you comfortable while studying for hours on end.

One Simple Change: Going out for a girl’s night out after a long day of studying? If so, just swap the jeans for a black miniskirt, ditch the scarf and you’re all set! This outfit is full of day to night transition pieces that look great studying in the library and going out with girlfriends afterwards!
