The worst and best part of the semester has finally come; finals. The joys of summer heat, your last couple of exams and the beginning of sun dresses commence. Let’s face it, nobody wants to sit through an exam in jeans. It can be hard to build up enough effort for an outfit at this time of the semester. One easy trick is skater skirts; they are breezy and relaxed while still remaining fabulous. They can almost go with anything.
I found this Fashionista taking an afternoon stroll around campus here in Madrid, Spain. Her outfit is perfect for finals week. She paired her classic black skater skirt with a black crop top to create a split-dress look. She added a vintage sweater that she found at a thrift shop in Andalusia, Spain. The sweater has a unique design that gives life to her outfit. Also the addition of the headband helps keep your attention toward the middle of the outfit. The red is a great contrast to the all black of the outfit.
In Europe, having a chunky shoe is never a bad idea. This Fashionista went with a pair of black Dr. Martens to go with her shear tights. To carry this look into the night she could put on a pair of heels and be ready for the night! If you are ever in doubt about what might be in style for Europeans, always start with black and go from there!
