WHAT TO WEAR: Finals

Even though it’s not quite time for spring finals (although I wish it was because I can’t even express how ready I am for summer!), midterms are upon us. From projects to tests to papers galore, it’s no wonder that we all are just about ready to pull our hair out. However, just because we feel like a crazy mess on the inside, doesn’t mean we have to look like one on the outside.

Here, this Fashionista shows us what it means to look laid back and studious at the same time. She’s got a lot of comfy basics on that she has spiced up with some dazzling statement pieces.

Her cream colored pullover sweatshirt is one of the most versatile items that a collegiate can own. It’s something that can be thrown over a pair of yoga pants or leggings or worn over jeans as this Fashionista did on this day.

Her dark wash jeans were a perfect addition to this outfit, as they were not super skin tight like the majority of skinny jeans. They gave a baggier, relaxed feel that was totally cute and appropriate for a day of classes, presentations and studying.

One of my absolute favorite pieces in her ensemble were her adorable sand colored fringe boots. I loved that the boots were slightly slouchy but still fun and spunky with the fringe at the side. Although riding boots are a college girl staple, fringe boots are totally underrated and one of my absolute wardrobe must-haves.

She finished off her outfit with a super cute owl statement necklace, a red and gray patterned scarf and a black cross-body bag. The combo of the scarf and necklace was genius and really gave a touch of sparkle to the overall ensemble. Her black bag tied in with her black peacoat and polished off the look in a perfect way.

One Simple Change: Going for a well-deserved night out after a stressful day? Swap out the fringe boots for a pair of totally unexpected fringe heels! They will give you the look you still want while amping up the glam factor!
