There’s nothing I love more than walking around Church Street in Burlington, Vermont. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been bored. The street is filled with amazing local boutiques that sell the most beautiful clothing and shoes, restaurants that make you wish you could never stop eating and most importantly, street performances. I can’t even count how many times I’ve gone to Burlington just to listen to music on the street. The number of talented musicians playing music on the street is absolutely amazing.
The Jazz Festival in Burlington is a great opportunity for musicians to showcase their music and for those who are musically untalented, like me, to look great and enjoy wonderful music. If I’m being honest, the festival is also a great way for me to find inspiration for improving my own style, and I also just love to people watch. You never know who you’re going to see and what new fun styles you’re going to find. Thankfully, I found this Fashionista sporting a very appropriate outfit for this special occasion.
Just like the notorious sound of jazz, this Fashionista’s look is soulful and chill. She’s rocking some blue cuffed high-waisted jeans that show off her bangin’ curves. The cuffed bottoms keep the look casual and make you lower your eyes to see her sexy statement heels. These heels aren’t just any plain ol’ heels. These heels are Steve Madden nude heels with silver studs that outline the shoes, and of course they turn heads—guilty as charged. Studded heels are great for spicing up almost any outfit. The black boxy cut-out tee keeps the outfit playful, and of course, fashionable for events such as a jazz concert. My favorite part about her shirt is that it does not have a straight bottom. The shirt zigzags across the bottom, making the shirt more memorable and unique. Last but not least, this Fashionista tops off her outfit with some cute sunnies and a gold necklace that mimics the bottom of her shirt.
I hope that the rest of the music-goers on Church Street saw this Fashionista, because her look is definitely one to learn from.
One Simple Change: Going to dinner with family and friends after the festival? Swap out the jeans for a cute pencil skirt. If it starts to get a little chilly out, throw on a loose blazer and you’ll be ready for another great occasion.
