WHAT TO WEAR: Falling Back Into Fashion

Happy belated day light savings time! Falling back an hour has many Style Gurus’ days feeling both confusing and exhausting. At 5:00 p.m. the sky grows dark. Should the Guru Gang be sleeping instead of studying? Sadly, the answer is no. When days get dark, it is of the upmost importance to not let grades or sense of style fall behind as well.

It’s time to get back to the grindstone fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos. This Fashionista was found with a skip in her step while sporting a functional yet autumn-inspired ensemble. The stylish role model presented clearly understands how to stand up against fall days.

Her outfit, combined with her makeup choices, has a natural aesthetic. The tan of the anorak jacket matches the ground, which in turn grants a down-to-earth feeling. She builds on this theme by layering a bohemian patterned shirt underneath the jacket. In an instant, onlookers can see how this earthy style is a part of who she is, which is why it was such a pleasure to work with her. She could not stop letting out this distinguishing laugh that was as organic as a path untouched—yet her personal style is not two-dimensional.

The natural theme is touched with typical femininity. She sticks to the earthy tones in her accessories but is careful about selecting chic pieces. On her wrist, she wears an olive and gold watch. In the details, however, faux diamonds replace the numbers. This shimmering effect pairs nicely with her layered necklace. Additionally, the height of the heels on her booties contribute to the girlish aesthetic.

Time is not a valid excuse for a Fashionista or Fashionisto to slack on showing the world exactly who they are. This Fashionista screamed who is was without saying a word; her earthy and girly combination did it for her. Take a note to not fall behind, only to fall back into fall fashion!
