WHAT TO WEAR: Fall Festivities

October 20th, 2016 at 2:00am

Is it just me, or does everyone have their ideal fall day planned out in their heads? Mine would start with brunch at the farmer’s market followed by apple picking, pumpkin carving and I would end the day cuddled up by the fire watching Hocus Pocus. Not only do I have my perfect fall day planned, but the perfect fall outfit as well.

I have to say that this Fashionista’s outfit came pretty close to my ideal fall outfit. I can see her now strolling though the market with some fresh chrysanthemums in hand. The temperature in the beginning of fall can always be so unpredictable. The mornings and nights are chilly and the days are warm, so it’s always so hard to decide on an outfit for the day. That’s where the romper and sweater combination comes in. It’s the perfect transition from summer to fall. This Fashionista’s maroon romper is as pretty as the fall foliage. I love maroon in the fall because it is such a warm color and looks good on any complexion. A long, neutral sweater is a must-have as the weather gets colder. It can be thrown on top of anything, immediately pulling an outfit together and keeping you warm and cozy too of course. Another fall staple is the bootie. Whether you are wearing jeans, a dress, a romper or a skirt I think that booties are the way to go in the fall months. This Fashionista keeps it simple with a pair of black suede booties. Finally, to pull the whole outfit together she adds gold accents with her jewelry. I especially love the necklace and dainty bow ring.

No matter what fall festivities you may partake in, this outfit is perfect. By adding a few fall staples to a more summery item this Fashionista created a look fit for the pumpkin patch.
