WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

It’s almost that time of year–the best time of year if you ask me. Soon the trees will start changing colors and everything will get a little cozier and a little calmer. Fall is sweater weather, late night hot cocoa and fuzzy socks. But the best part isn’t carving pumpkins at 2:00 a.m. No, the best part is the snug and charming outfits that come with the breezy weather.

Fall is perfect because it’s not too hot for a blouse but not cold enough for a jacket. This Fashionista was anxious to get a head start on fall fashion.

For this look, the simplicity is what really brings this outfit together. It starts with a darker toned floral blouse that is layered with a cargo vest. Because this Fashionista chose a darker top, obviously she chose lighter colored jeans. A little distress never hurt anyone (because the jeans are distressed, get it?). This Fashionista had the perfect booties to finish off her look. They’re navy and matched wonderfully.

I am a firm believer that no look is complete without accessories. This look goes great with her leather bound watch paired with some accenting bracelets. For the final part of this look, to add some contrast she decided to add a white purse. I think it really pulls the whole ensemble together.

This Fashionistas fall look is very versatile for many different occasions, but with a few changes, this outfit is ready to meet the parents. Simply ditch the vest and the boots and add a necklace and some wedges. You’re bound to make a killer first impression.
