WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

Welcome to fall in Florida—where it is November and it is still 90 degrees outside!

Fall is in full swing (maybe not in Florida, but everywhere else), so that means it’s time to change the “let me wear leggings and a hoodie” outfit to “nature’s colors and layers!” This is a season of wearing warm clothing with earth-toned colors and layering, but most importantly, this is a season of dressing how you want to dress. For people in Florida, fall is still practically the same as summer, but I thought it was finally time to embrace the inner “northern Fashionista” and take on a true fall outfit.

This Fashionista is rocking a super cute fall outfit which can be worn for any occasion. Booties and boots are a staple item to have in your closet for the fall because of how versatile they are! Here, they are paired with high-waisted boyfriend jeans, a cheetah print scarf and a charcoal-colored wide brim fedora. The cozy colors of her outfit work perfectly with the pop of print from her scarf and it is a wonderful look for those days when it’s a little bit chilly around campus but you still want to look cute.

One Simple Change: Is the weather finally getting colder? The perks about this outfit is that you can change around the pieces to make it look completely different! Change the cardigan out for a long peacoat with a pop of color to look more sophisticated and to feel warmer, switch the cheetah print scarf out for more of a wooly, cozy scarf and maybe even add in some black skinny jeans and then you’re ready for a night out on the town!
