WHAT TO WEAR: Fall

When I think of fall, I think of orange and red leaves falling softly against the pavement and warm spice drinks. With holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving to look forward to, it’s not so bad having to give up the summer sun and freedoms of having on school.

In true fall spirit, this Fashionista brought out her chic black turtleneck sweater. It pairs effortlessly with black skinny jeans and black suede loafers. Fall mornings in New York can be a bit chilly, so she adds a light scarf to not only add some personality to her minimalistic outfit but to also double as a shawl in case the winds are strong.

For accessories, this Fashionista pairs a burgundy tote bag for a spice of color. Burgundy has been indirectly deemed one of the main colors of the fall 2015 season, keeping her look current with trends. She also adds two stone rings and a gold watch with matching gold aviator sunglasses to round out the outfit and add a classy flair to an otherwise edgy New Yorker look.

One Simple Change: Do you enjoy wearing all-black all year long? If you’re like me and believe that black is the best color to pair with black, then you can easily wear this look into the winter season as well. If you live in a colder region of the country, try trading in the light scarf for a heavier wool coat. To add a contrast of color, try getting the coat in a shade of toffee.
