WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

We are officially in the midst of summer and we all know what that means: fun, freedom and countless plans. It seems that students either find themselves lounging around the house, juggling jobs or traveling.  After finals and numerous projects, I wouldn’t blame anyone who uses their summer vacations as a time to chill. In fact, I do it all the time. However, there are those individuals who seem like they can’t be stopped! Committing one’s self to two jobs, parties, travel and quality family time seems not to threaten some powerful teens. Although this pace does cause you to sacrifice some serious sleep and relaxation, that doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice your self-expression.

This Fashionista makes sure her transition from day to night is as simple as possible. By minimizing the amount of clothing she needs to change, she is able to quickly rush from one job to the next. A pair of dark wash jeans works perfectly throughout the day and into the night. Pair these bottoms with a classic pair of sneakers, perfect both for running after your campers to preparing a concert venue for a show. Jeans with a clean pair of sneakers create a perfect canvas that allows you to transform any outfit. Just grab a quick statement bag, flowy top and simple earrings to complete a look to tackle the night. Going back to the basics is a powerful fashion move that everyone needs to conquer.

One Simple Change:  Just got your paycheck from your camp counselor job and have to run to your next shift at the concert venue? Trade in your camp T-shirt for a flowy top. Compliment the change of attire with a new hairstyle and some fun earrings. Quickly tie up your beachy waves into a professional top-knot.
