WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

The start of this winter may have started off incredibly mild for the East Coast, but lately, the season has been pummeling us with brutal weather. The temperatures are freezing, and the snow and wind are relentless, which makes going anywhere a cold and difficult trek. Though I prefer to stay snuggled under blankets when it gets this cold, a few brave souls can be found moving quickly about and embracing the weather, by dressing up for the season with style.

We caught up with this Fashionisto as he went looking for a bite to eat. Despite the chill, it was a beautiful day. Beneath his winter coat, a black graphic fitted hoodie was worn, providing further warmth with a bit of edge. Hoodies are great ways to have your personality shine in this season without sacrificing heat. They are an essential garment for this time of year. A wooden pendant necklace hung over the hoodie. On his feet were solid black low-top sneakers that peeked out from his skinny fit khakis. This casual outfit is cool and comfortable at the same time, which is perfect for running errands or meeting up with a friend.

One Simple Change: While I am a big fan of neutral ensembles, sometimes a bright pop of color can bring you out of the winter blues. Are you going tailgating later on in the day? Brighten up your palette by exchanging your black jacket for a coat that is vivid, bold and makes you feel like you’re in Drake’s “Hotline Bling” music video! This garment will be a staple piece that will shield you from the elements while showing off your personal style.
