WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

July 8th, 2015 at 2:00am

Running errands is something that we all do. No matter what, it seems like there is always something to pick up, something to drop off, someone to call and so on. Even in the summer, our endless list of errands does not seem to get any smaller. When I have multiple things on my to-do list, being comfortable is a priority. I usually opt for a pair of boyfriend jeans, a T-shirt, Converse and a few pieces of jewelry.

As I was running errands recently, I came across this Fashionista that looked incredibly fashionable but also very comfortable. It made me wonder why I hadn’t worn something similar. Her look wasn’t complicated, and it looked effortless. That effortless look is thanks to her oversized T-shirt. You can throw one on with a pair of awesome shoes and be ready. The oversized T-shirt trend has been spotted on celebrities like Rihanna, Zoe Kravitz and Miley Cyrus. Since seeing the many ways you can wear an oversized T-shirt, I decided to invest in a few of my own. They have become a summer staple of mine. You can dress them up for a night out or down for the day, just as this Fashionista did. She put on minimal jewelry, flatform sandals and a small bag. What makes the outfit even more interesting is the design on the T-shirt and the hints of gold hardware on her shoes and accessories. It’s a great outfit when you’re going for a relaxed look, yet still want to kill it.

One Simple Change: When you’ve finished running all of those errands and are looking for an outfit to wear for the night, just switch your shoes for a pair of strappy sandals. Add a statement necklace and bold lipstick.
