WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

Does anyone else get flustered at times when running errands? I find that as I’m trying to get things checked off of my to do list I need something to keep me on track and for me a put together outfit always seems to do the trick. Now I don’t intend on anyone wearing formal attire to run around the grocery in, however a thought out casual outfit like this Fashionistas is definitely going to make you feel in control.

This Fashionistas outfit starts out with a basic denim which is great for comfort and no hassle when getting things done. She then added a white lace peplum top for some texture. The form fitting silhouette of this top also helped pull the look together. Next, she added a floral shawl to add another pattern and create a relaxed, boho look. The pattern of the shawl and the lace harmonized and worked nicely without fighting for attention. Then, this Fashionista did a great job of accessorizing.

She went with simple, fuss-free bracelets and rings and for a bag she had a great fringe cross-body bag. This handbag is great for running errands because it is hands free and it also tied the boho style of this look together. For shoes she wore a simple pair of cute sandals for comfort and to not steal away from the rest of her ensemble. Her outfit is very fashionable because it is on trend with being boho but also sophisticated and timeless with the lace.

One Simple Change: This outfit is good for almost any casual affair however, you can dress it up for an interview. Switch out the sandals for a low to mid heel or flats and then exchange the loose shawl for a blazer. You may also want to swap out the cross-body for a more structured tote when heading to an interview.
