WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

Errands are inevitable. I know I always find myself running errands. One second, I’m picking up some stamps at the post office for my mother, and the next, I’m buying groceries for that night’s dinner. One thing I find nearly impossible to do is to look fashionable while attempting to complete my daily to-do list. I almost always leave my house in some sweatpants, an oversized hoodie, my glasses and a messy bun when I’m in a rush.

Clearly, this Fashionista has mastered the art of looking presentable while being productive. Her basic black sneakers allow her to be on foot all day without a problem. The soft black oversized sweater keeps her from getting too cold. Her distressed boyfriend jeans add a cool grunge element to her outfit. Lastly, this Fashionista knew how to accessorize. I kid you not, the first thing I noticed about her ensemble was her jewelry. Her dainty gold threader earrings and edgy collar necklace added interest and a touch of glam to her overall look.

Her style is cool and comfortable (and I am so jealous). Thankfully, we are all in luck. Her outfit is incredibly easy to recreate. So, the next time you’re about to head out the door, throw on some distressed jeans, your go-to sneakers, an oversized sweater and some gold jewelry to look as effortless as our lovely Fashionista.

One Simple Change: Planning on going out with your friends after checking off every item on your to-do list? The easiest ways to instantly dress up your look is to swipe on some bright lipstick and swap your comfy sneakers for some strappy black sandals for a fun night out with the girls.
