What to Wear

Second semester has officially commenced and it’s time to get back into that school grind. Catching up with friends, attending new classes and taking a slower first week all help to ease our way back into school. Before things start to get busy again, I like to make sure I have all my bases covered so I’m ready for anything. This includes a fridge stocked with snacks, a quick trip to the drug store and anything else to make sure I start the semester off on a good note.

A simple, casual outfit for this job will do. Since it’s still snowing up here, it’s important to stay warm with a winter coat and the appropriate footwear to combat the cold. I love that this Fashionista paired jewel tones with her neutral jacket and graphic shirt. The colored denim, while bold, has a muted quality that makes it easy to pair with anything. Finish the look off with oxblood mittens and a colored scarf, the perfect winter accessories for any Fashionista.

One Simple Change: While it’s hard to believe that we’re already back, it’s important to stay on top of readings and assignments so we don’t leave everything until the last minute. Therefore, regular trips to the library (coffee shop, etc.) are a must. I love wearing layers to study so I’m always comfortable and my hair in a bun to have it out of the way. When heading to study, bring a bigger bag/backpack and make sure you have everything you need before you go to maximize your studying time!
