I think it is safe to say winter is finally over, and what a long winter it was. Spring in the valley is absolutely beautiful and this is my favorite time of year. Students are out and about on campus, laying on the quad or eating lunch outside. This is a great time to spot many Fashionistas/os out and showing off their own fashion styles. Something about the spring makes people ditch the sweats and dress up for class. Everything is so much more enjoyable when it is nice out!
As I was walking around campus I spotted this week’s Fashionista wearing the perfect outfit for running errands. What I liked about her outfit was that it was spring inspired but you could wear it in the fall also! I have to say her Minnetonka 3-Layer Fringe Boots from Nordstrom are my favorite part about this look. Her medium-washed skinny jean from 7 For All Mandkind is perfect for when the weather gets warmer. As summer approaches ditch the dark washes and go for more of a medium to light washes for those warm days.
Her shirt is light and airy which is great for quick trips in and out of stores while you are out running errands. Also the blue and white colors are very chic! Shirts that are button-down or pullover like this one from Free People make your life a lot easier when you out running errands or when your at the mall trying on clothes. She tops off her look with gold accessories like her watch and Alex and Ani bangles. The pink color of her nails is the ideal springtime shade!
One Simple Change: Take away the jeans and add a pair of denim high-wasited shorts and a flower headband for a festival outfit!
