What to Wear

No matter how much I seem to get done or how productive a day appears to turn out, I feel like there’s always something left over. I can’t be the only college student who feels that way, right? It’s one thing after another. Finishing assignments that are all due on the same day, catching up with family over the phone and running errands to take care of everything else that sometimes doesn’t even revolve around work, family and school. Crazy, right? So ideally, most of us probably don’t get all dressed up for errands. We want to be comfortable, but still stylish, and this Fashionista is dressed perfectly for just that!

The most important outfit component for running errands are a comfortable pair of shoes. If you’re on the go all day, the last thing you want are aching feet. Knee-high boots like the pair this Fashionista is rocking, or a cool pair of sneakers are sure to get the job done. I also love that she has all of her belongings handy: her keys, phone and wallet — things that most of us can’t leave our homes without! Here’s a cool all-in-one phone case and wallet with a key ring that’ll be easy to grab and go on your day of errands. A simple printed button-down adds a nice touch to this comfortably chic ensemble along with a simple stud earring. My everyday go-to are the gumdrop studs from kate spade new york, which come in a number of different colors.

One Simple Change: It may be starting to warm up a bit in your area so if you’re preparing for a heat wave, swap the denim jacket for a vest instead. Forever 21 has quite the assortment, and you’ll be a bit cooler if your arms have some room to breathe.
