WHAT TO WEAR: Errands

What to Wear

Going away for college is such an awesome experience. You get to live life on your own, stay out how ever late you want to and, oh yeah, run your own errands. Yay… Now while your first instinct for Saturday morning errands may be to stay in your pajamas and get what you need to get done, done, it never hurts to do a little neck breaking with a trendy outfit choice to get groceries in. And this Fashionista is definitely going to turn some heads.

When I first spotted this Fashionista, I could just tell she was on a mission. Maybe that’s because of her super chic army button-up? The army green is one of my favorites this fall and the way she’s paired it with the booties ensures that she’s not here to play games. Many stores are hosting the army look this season including Forever 21 where this Fashionista grabbed her button-up from and also Urban Outfitters with this more heavy-duty jacket. And we can’t forget about those adorable little booties from Nordstrom. They are the perfect choice especially if you’re anything like me where a little heel never hurt.

Next, you guys know how I feel about accessorizing… it’s more than just a want, it’s a need. Her arm candy is the perfect balance of not too much and not too little and of course, the watch is a necessity. I mean, you want to keep an eye on it so you don’t spend too much time at the grocery store so you still have time to hop into your favorite boutique, right? And the studded wrap-around bracelet is the perfect complement for the watch. You can find something similar to the Fashionista’s bracelet here at Express. Her sunglasses are next up on my list. The aviators are the final polish that this army girl ensemble needed.

One Simple Change: As much as I love big totes because I can practically fit my whole life into one, try switching it out for a cross-body for an easier route when spending long days running errands like this one from Free People.
