WHAT TO WEAR: Early Class

What to Wear

“Hipster” is a popular phrase at Azusa Pacific University. The only problem is that nobody knows the true definition. Some say a hipster is one who wears no shoes, cuffed pants, carries around a guitar and the list goes on. Most would say this Fashionisto is a hipster, because he takes original style to a whole new level.

No shoes are a trend at APU. This Fashionisto, on occasion, does not wear shoes, because he prefers to be barefoot. It not only allows more sleep for early classes, but makes a fashion statement. This outfit is great for an early class, because it is easy to put together. It requires a screen tee, sunglasses and khakis. To keep the look polished, wear shirts that have cool typography on the front or an interesting logo. If barefoot is too much try a pair of oxfords, or Converse All-Stars. They are laid back and easy to slip on for class. Colored pants instead of jeans are comfortable and trendy. Khakis always look polished, which is perfect for the mornings when running late. If the outfit looks great, the hair does not have too.

This look can be found anywhere. I recommend H&M for pants or Nordstrom. To be unique, find a printing store close by and design an original logo. Nobody will have the same shirt on campus and it’s a great conversation starter.

One Simple Change: To make this outfit perfect for a sporting event, throw on a school sweatshirt and baseball cap to show your school spirit.
