WHAT TO WEAR: Early Class

What to Wear

Every morning as your alarm acts as the perfect wake up call, so does the rush for getting ready for class. Sometimes the need to dress well just doesn’t occur when you have work piling up. But if you want to look your best, hurrying isn’t going to help. With the most basic and essential elements available, one can create a chic look in no time. All you need is a little patience and a pop of creativity.

In the city, with the weather fluctuating, people tend to ignore sundresses and rompers for now. They would rather opt for light denims with easy going, loose T-shirts and a trendy bag to do the talking. It’s easy to acquire a boho or girl next door look, but being the trendsetter is what grabs attention.

This Fashionista’s style and dressing is what I call a mélange of effortless chic and trendy from head to toe. Her beautiful golden locks are braided, which is giving her an ideal look that is refreshing in itself. Who would’ve thought of the front tuck of the breezy T-shirt? The cuts and hem of the gray top impart a fresh and flattering sense of style. Enhancing her waist is a gorgeous thin leather belt that breaks the monotony of the light shades.

Your attention is then caught up on the gorgeous handbag which is very alluring and functional at the same time. She has cleverly put down a synchronized pattern of matching dark with light (observe the gladiator footwear), with accessories being darker. It’s the most basic overall look that evokes a sense of comfort and remasters the modern and minimalistic grunge trend.

One Simple Change: A simple color blocking mix would replenish the absence of strong hues, especially when you are running errands. Coffee brown or red pants could substitute well during the day. Though I absolutely dig this Fashionista’s look, keeping the bottoms solid with striped or neutral colors for the top would work as well.
