There is some change that must happen when we go through the transfer from a high school student to a college one. Where we used to be able to get up and be at school by seven a.m., it is now near impossible to make it on time to anything before nine in the morning. It does not matter how early we go to bed or how much coffee we consume, mornings have become the ultimate adversary to college students. When even trying to make it out of your bed in the morning is a struggle, attempting to put together a decent outfit is even worse.
I caught this Fashionista on her way to catch a bus to campus for her eight a.m. class. Blacksburg has already begun to become chilly. My favorite part of her outfit is her leggings they are fleece-lined! This may have been the best invention since sliced bread. Leggings, while comfortable, can be pretty thin. By adding the fleece this problem has been solved. Every girl should invest in a pair of these. Going to Virginia Tech, it is rare to go anywhere without seeing several people in some type of Tech apparel. This Fashionista is showing off the new 2013 school T-shirt.
The cowboy boots she chose to pair with her outfit are so adorable. I love the white and royal blue stitching that creates the design. They are a little bit worn which gives them a little bit of a softer feel. New boots can appear too stiff, so I like that these aren’t perfect. Instead of big earrings or necklace, this Fashionista chose to have multiple silver rings covering her fingers. Each ring is different in design, my favorite being the elephant shaped one. Ray-Ban style sunglasses have become very popular among college students in the past few years. I have seen various colors around campus, but never the American flag design before. I love these sunglasses, and the fact that this Fashionista is unique in her accessories.
