At some point or another, most college students are going to have to do the one thing that we all try to avoid during our four years as undergraduates: take an 8 am class. When class scheduling comes around, everyone (myself included) scrambles to snatch up the latest classes possible for maximum time to sleep, watch Netflix and hang with friends. But, at some point in our college careers, it’s more than likely we’ll have to take a dreaded early morning class.
This semester, if you were one of the unlucky ones to have a class earlier than you’d like to take some queues from this Fashionista. I know the last thing anyone wants to do when they hear their alarm go off at 6:30 am is shower, pick out a stylish outfit and spend time primping when they could instead be hitting the snooze button. However, this Fashionista took the time to put her best foot forward and instead of wearing the comfortable staple of sweats and a T-shirt decided for a more sophisticated and stylish option.
Her boldly patterned, three quarter sleeve top is a super cute, yet still totally comfortable option for an early morning class. It’s a perfect piece to throw on quickly but still look put together – it’s also a good transition piece for summer to fall. Paired with her basic white shorts, the ensemble is an easy way to upgrade an early morning look from frumpy to stylish. Her trendy jewelry with crosses and skulls adds an edgy vibe, and the casual flip flops get an upgrade in brown leather.
One simple change: Swap the white shorts for a black pencil skirt and the sandals for black wedges or heels for a day at the office or a classy date night.
