Rrring! Rrring! Yes. That’s the sound of your alarm clock alerting you that it’s time to wake up for that 8 a.m. lecture class. Whether or not you are a natural morning person or you got the short end of the stick during registration, morning classes can be rough for everyone. It can be tempting to press the snooze button once, twice or maybe even five times to catch those extra Zs. But you and I know that sleeping in usually results in a frantic race to class with only enough time to tie you hair up in that dreaded top knot, throw on a pair of sweatpants and gargle some mouth wash. I’ll even admit that I’ve been a perpetrator to these early a.m. no-nos but I am here to say no more! I’m not saying sacrifice comfort, but putting yourself together for those early morning classes can be a great way to start your day. You will feel confident knowing that you look good, professors definitely appreciate the effort and you never know if that campus cutie will decide to sit next to you in class that day.
This Fashionista looked absolutely adorable and comfy on her way to class this morning. She not only bundled up against the cold but she looked both comfortable and cute! Her black trench coat dressed up her casual blue jeans and I loved the way it flared out at the bottom. Her motorcycle boots were not only edgy, but they were perfect for trudging through the snow. What took this Fashionista’s outfit from cute to freaking adorable were her winter accessories. I loved her knit headband with the bow on top. Headbands are a great way to stay warm and have a good hair day as you can see from this Fashionista’s chic high bun. She also accessorized with a tan infinity scarf and striped gloves. Overall, I think its safe to say that this Fashionista conquered the early a.m. style slump.
One Simple Change: When the numbers on the thermostat start rising from the negatives, swap out the trench coat for a sleek leather moto jacket like this one from Free People. The colored leather is hot for spring and the jacket combined with the boots is the perfect look for a rock concert!
