Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I know summer days are full of days where you are running out all day doing everything from meeting up with old friends, getting groceries, getting work done for an internship or even job hunting! Before you know it it’s already time for you to meet up with your friends for dinner in the city and you have no time to run home and change! You need a perfect day to night outfit and this is a perfect example! It is chic, comfy and can easily transition from a day doing errands to a night on the town.
The best part of this outfit is that the pants are joggers! Joggers are one of my favorite things because they are super comfy and look oh so cute! Black joggers can be such a great staple for any closet, pair with heels and you can conquer the world. Keeping the materials light is key because you don’t want to be weighed down all day, the joggers and chambray shirt are perfect in this spirit. The chambray shirt doesn’t stick to you and it is super breathable, so it’s great to wear on a cool summer day! You don’t lose your shape in this shirt either so it can be paired with the joggers and can still show off your figure. Spice up the plain shirt with a statement necklace. You can add color through the necklace or keep it simple like this Fashionista by just adding some sparkle! Another way to add color is through your lipstick! This Fashionista picked a bright pink which stands out and adds the perfect amount of color to this outfit. You can never forget a watch when running out all day, it is better for you to look at your watch then your phone when out and about, plus it saves your battery.
As I said before, pair joggers with a killer pair of heels and you can conquer the world. These strappy shoes can be casual and dressy depending on how you wear them which is great! The heel isn’t high so they are comfy enough to wear all day and all night. If you want to keep a pair of flip flops in your purse to change into throughout the day when driving or traveling. That being said you want to have a big bag so you can keep all your day to night essentials! This Fashionista’s bag is perfect, it has different pockets and can very easily fit a pair of flip flops and a make up for touch ups throughout the day.
One Simple Change: By changing the joggers to colored jeans you can most definitely meet the parents in this outfit! The jeans will dress up the outfit a little more but keep it casual enough for lunch with the new beu and their parents.
