I am sure that I am not the only that has that the one day full of classes with only a few breaks in between. For me, those days are Mondays and Wednesdays, and with a full load during the day followed by a night class, it’s nice to take a break off campus for a nice change of scenery. Therefore, I have noticed myself coordinating the perfect day to night outfit for those crazy days. Before my night class, I like to go off campus and get some dinner with either my boyfriend or my best friend. This calls for a dinner ready outfit that is still suitable for classes during the day. I was inspired by this Fashionista whose olive colored jacket and wine colored boots caught my eye. Her outfit was classroom friendly while still totally appropriate for an evening out.
To achieve this look, I would start with a dark wash pair of skinny jeans. Jeans are causal for the classroom yet the dark wash makes them appropriate for your night time activity. Next throw on a simple graphic T-shirt. I would opt for a neutral color such as gray and a lose fit for comfort. On top, wear an all-weather jacket that is longer in length and has zipper and pocket detailing. These jackets look great in green tones such as olive or even neutral gray colors. Finish off the look with an ankle boot in an eye-catching wine color. This will make your outfit pop and ready for any occasion to come your way.
One Simple Change: This outfit is great for rainy days just make sure to switch the ankle boots for a pair of rain boots. Keep those feet dry!
