WHAT TO WEAR: Date Night

I know for a fact that girls have a hard time dressing themselves for dates. So, getting a guy’s perspective on the pre-date outfit choosing dilemma was very amusing. This Fashionisto claims he always goes with a causal, simplistic look. This ensures that he doesn’t come across too strongly but keeps a sophisticated, clean cut appearance. Selecting neutral colors was a wise decision. Bright, flashy colored accessories or patterns could make you appear less mature. Although, dressing too casually might make you seem like you aren’t interested in impressing them. Date night apparel is all about finding that happy medium.

Lately, I’ve been in love with pairing black with nude and beige tones. This Fashionisto followed suit and wore a black henley with khaki jogger pants. Wearing khaki pants on a date could potentially make you look like you’re in a work uniform, but not if you find some that are flattering. A skinny fit pant with cinching around the ankle will definitely make you come across as stylish. Some might want to wear a dressy shoe, like oxfords or brogues. This Fashionisto kept comfort in mind, though, and went with a classic black and white canvas plimsoll.

This Fashionisto does have an edgier look, what with all the tattoos and stretched earlobes. However, this does not in any way mean he can’t still look classy. He wears obsidian tunnels in his ears, which are a refreshing alternative to some of the ostentatious multicolor plugs people wear.

One Simple Change: This outfit could easily become a workout ensemble if the Fashionisto swapped his henley for a loose-fitting graphic T-shirt.
