WHAT TO WEAR: Date Night

So you’ve got a date. Whether this is your first date or a nightly tradition date with your babe, you still want to look cute, right? Of course you do. One of the best parts about my major at California State University of Northridge, is being surrounded by fabulously fashionable people. So, it was no problem finding a Fashionista with a great sense of style to help inspire me for a date night look.

This Fashionista knows how to dress cute, and I thought her look would suit perfectly for a summer date night. I was looking for something elegant and sexy, yet subtle, showing a sweet side. Her look does just that. Her floral romper is the life of the outfit, and the best part about it is how versatile it is. It flows comfortably, making the fit flattering for all bodies. The low cut V-neck gives the look gives off a sexy vibe without revealing too much. The floral print keeps her youthful, sweet and flirty, which perfectly balances out the sexy plunging neckline.

Since the romper itself is such a statement piece, she kept it simple by adding a dainty necklace on her bare skin caused by the revealing neckline. Her shoes are also quite versatile, which are an awesome feature to have in a pair of shoes. The open heel booties have that casual boot look, but have the perfect heel to class it up for this romantic occasion. They have a great click to her step and they give the illusion that you’re sophisticated without trying too hard.

One Simple Change: Your friends decide to get brunch the morning after your date. You can still wear the same outfit! Don’t believe me? Chuck on a black floppy sun hat and toss your hair into a braid for a more daytime appropriate look. You’ll instantly look like you’re ready for a relaxing brunch in the sunshine.
