WHAT TO WEAR: Date Night

September 21st, 2015 at 2:10am

There’s no denying it, dressing for date night is definitely harder than dressing for movie night with your mom, especially if that date night is the very first date. So how does one look effortlessly cute while not letting on to how long it actually took to get dressed? It’s not always easy, but that’s why we draw inspiration from all the Fashionistas who know exactly what they’re doing.

The Fashionista showcased in my photos wore an elegant white dress with bold magenta flowers on it. Her lacy black bandeau accented the dress’ simplistic pattern, while simultaneously adding a flirty touch. The bandeau also brings attention to the unique cut of the back of the dress. Then, she wore a pair of black peep-toe sandals. These black pieces helped add a slight edge to an otherwise very summery dress. Finally, the Fashionista topped off her ensemble with a delicate heart necklace, some diamond earrings and a cute watch.

This outfit is sure to impress anyone worth impressing. It met the goal of having an effortless feel, while being 100 percent stylish and comfortable, which I believe is all anyone would want to be on their first date. One could tell that this Fashionista put some thought into every aspect of her outfit. With this look, I’m willing to bet money that there will be a second date.

One Simple Change: Since the Fashionista’s dress is the main focal point of her outfit, she could easily remove the bandeau, swap out her sandals for a pair of neutral wedges and add a cardigan to be ready to attend the graduation of one of her fellow classmates (or maybe even the person who she went on a date with)!
