WHAT TO WEAR: Concert

August 9th, 2016 at 2:00am

Concerts are my favorite part about summer—hanging out with friends, listening to your favorite music live and seeing all the best new trends that people are wearing. They are the perfect photo opportunities, which means everyone breaks out their best outfits. Although finding the perfect concert outfit is absolutely necessary, comfort is also key when choosing what to wear. No one can enjoy themselves if they are wearing something they cannot move around in, but thankfully this Fashionista knows exactly what to wear in order to have a good time.

Chokers are back and better than ever. There are so many different styles today that range from the classic choker to the velvet choker. This Fashionista is seen wearing a velvet one. It brings the look together yet does not make it too tough since it is worn with lighter colors. It is the perfect accessory for someone who likes simplicity but also wants to stay trendy. I love a good pair of denim shorts, they are perfect for every occasion. Whether they are distressed, high-waisted, light or dark wash, they go with pretty much everything and are comfortable too! This Fashionista paired her shorts with a fun loose-fitting tee so that she can enjoy the concert without feeling restricted.

Any form of a bag or purse is a necessity for concerts, they can hold basically anything you need for the night’s events. This bag comes particularly in handy because it is so spacious, but also goes great with the outfit. Keeping comfort in mind, Stan Smiths were a great call on this Fashionista’s part—they are stylish and fun and there is no way her feet will be hurting at the end of the night. For the next concert I’ll be attending this summer, I cannot wait to borrow a few tips from this Fashionista for my own outfit.

One Simple Change: Have more plans for the night? If you plan on going out after the concert is over, just swap your jean shorts with a skirt, and your sneakers for some sandals and you are ready to keep the night going!
