WHAT TO WEAR: Concert

June 2nd, 2015 at 2:00am

Ready or not, it’s already here: concert season has come in full force. Whether you’re heading to an outdoor festival or a long night in a stadium, comfort is one of the most important aspects when it comes to concert dressing. However, while its crucial to remain ready to dance all night, looking (and feeling) cute is just as necessary!

Celebrities at Coachella have made boho the go-to concert style, and that trend does not seem to be disappearing any time soon. Taking a note from the stars, this Fashionista is festival ready in her dramatic flare pants. The high-waisted effect makes her legs appear to go on for miles, and the flare only helps to continue the illusion. While these pants can typically overwhelm a small frame, it’s clear that she stayed mindful of proportions when choosing this amazing cream crop top. Just like the volume of the pants, she selected a shirt that emphasizes her arms, similarly flaring out at the hem. By keeping the articles tight at her midsection and allowing them to widen at her wrists and ankles this Fashionista maintains a perfect balance. Her simple accessories help this outfit from becoming gaudy and costume-like, which is an important thing to keep in mind when dressing for concerts.

Pants like these are the perfect way to stay cozy because they feel just like leggings and are ridiculously comfortable—which is probably why I’m obsessed with them and now need them in every color. They’re absolutely optimum for lounging around if you wear them with a plain tank top! The pattern of the pants allows them to be dressed up, as this Fashionista is, or dressed down into a more casual ensemble. Just as comfortable as sweats, but even more stylish. Throw on some sandals and you’ll be the most rad person running errands around town.

One Simple Change: Obsessed with the pants but couldn’t grab tickets to the show? Rock them for class! Grab a plain T-shirt and knot it at the waist. Let the statement bell-bottoms do the talking and prepare yourself for a plethora of compliments.
