With school ending in the next several weeks, it’s time to make plans for the summer. For most students the summer includes, internships, jobs and spending time with family and friends from home.
All of these activities make little time to see everyone from school before the fall semester. This makes now the perfect time to buy tickets to that concert that all of your friends have been dying to see before parting way for the summer. And, what is the best part of going to a concert? Finding a flawless outfit that makes you feel like a rockstar.
The Fashionista pictured had the perfect outfit for an afternoon concert with the unpredictable weather we have been experiencing as of late. She wore a pair of acid-washed jeans that just screamed concert ready. Bullhead Black Jeans at PacSun are a great brand to check out when looking for this style of jeans. I loved that she decided to wear something different and instead of same pair of jeans that every other person usually wears.
She also wore a vintage Van Halen T-shirt. Vintage T-shirts are a great way for a Fashionista to express her personality because they can be dressed up or down. Next time you’re home from school, ask Mom or Dad if they have any old band shirts lying around, you might be surprised by what you find. Over the band shirt, she wore a light brown leather jacket from Italy. Concerts are the perfect excuse to break out your leather jacket even if the weather is warm. On the other hand, if you cannot get to Italy to buy a leather jacket, Lucky Brand has a great selection of leather jackets with just the right amount of flare.
The Fashionista also sported a pair of Steve Madden combat boots that matched her black leather backpack. I loved the contrast of the black leather with the brown leather, it added a level of edginess to her overall look. To finalize the outfit, she wore a black patterned headwrap. Urban Outfitters has an amazing selection of headwraps where you will be sure to find one to match any outfit you can dream of. This Fashionista shows that choosing your outfit for a concert can be just as much fun as going to the concert. All you need is a great pair of sunglasses and your friends, and you’ll become a rockstar.
One Simple Change: Going on a weekend getaway with your friends instead? Trade the acid-washed jeans for a skater skirt with a pair of light brown gladiator sandals. You’re now ready for a weekend of shopping, dinning, gossiping and more.
