WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

Winter has finally settled in and New Yorkers are starting to bundle up. People all across the city are sporting heavy jackets, thick scarves and knit beanies atop their heads. This winter has come late, but that does not stop the cold weather from giving us its all. The cold weather makes it hard for Fashionistas and Fashionistos to look stylish, while also feeling warm and cozy (I know I have wanted to wear three layers of sweaters and leggings as my outfit of the day). Winter is most likely the most difficult season for Fashionistas in general; however, this Fashionista is able to rebel against the cold’s attempts to make us unfashionable.

It is not below freezing yet here in New York City, but it is cold enough for some thick clothing and a heavy jacket. This Fashionista wears a thick, yet stylish army green jacket over her blouse. Her blue blouse with floral embellishments helps give this Fashionista some flare, but pairing it with this jacket ensures warmth on this cold day in Central Park. The jacket makes the look casual, as well. It does not take away from the blouse, but rather, highlights it perfectly. She also keeps her head warm with a simple black beanie and finishes the look with some black round toe shoes with thick soles. These shoes make her outfit trendy. The thick-soles also make these shoes appropriate for this weather. Overall, this Fashionista is ready for the chilly air in a fashionable manner.

One Simple Change: To make this look feel even warmer for winter, add a thick knit infinity scarf to keep you feeling warm and looking stylish.
