WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

December 17th, 2015 at 2:05am

It’s official, coat season is in full force here in Rhode Island. Picking out this winter staple item can sometimes be a challenge. It’s okay to be picky. This coat is going to keep you warm through out the coldest days when nothing else can.

This Fashionista was spotted around campus wearing this unique beauty. Every girl must have a classic peacoat in their closet. Although the structure of this coat is classic and timeless, the leather sleeves and zipper details make this baby a winner.

Walking around campus going from class to class in the heart of winter is one of the hardest things college students experience in the north. Winter semesters are hard. As days are getting colder and colder, the sweaters will continue to get heavier and heavier. Today it was not the coldest, so this Fashionista layered some simple fall sweaters with her peacoat to top it off. Skinny jeans and flat booties are a comfortable and warm look that look good with everything!

This Fashionista stated that “going to school in Rhode Island staying warm is a MUST. I love this jacket because its super warm but looks great! I can throw it on for early Monday morning classes or for late Sunday brunch and literally be effortlessly chic.”

One Simple Change: If you check the weather and it’s expected to drop below 20 degrees tomorrow, zip up and grab your winter gear! A simple black wool scarf and a cute winter hat will keep you nice and toasty!
