WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

February 27th, 2015 at 2:00am

Cold weather definitely hinders a lot of Fashionistas from showing their style, but it certainly didn’t stop this one. The wintry weather calls for an outfit composed of warm, neutral tones. The tan, hunter green and brown earthy colors balance each other out in this Fashionista’s outfit. The look she’s wearing is easy to replicate and will keep you all bundled up.

On this Fashionista’s top layer, she’s wearing a camel military jacket. The thick lining on the inside of her jacket is ideal for the cold weather we’re having, especially since we’ve got six more weeks of winter ahead of us. The heavy coat is complemented by a thick infinity scarf in hunter green. Thick scarves are accessories that will ensure the winter wind doesn’t get to you.

Underneath the military jacket, this Fashionista is wearing a dark-colored flannel. The navy, green and red colors all mesh together. The colors in the flannel are a stylish accompaniment to the military jacket and scarf. Her shoulder bag is versatile and can hold all the things she’ll need for class or wherever she’s headed. The hunter green color in her bag ties in with her hunter green scarf that she’s wearing, which seamlessly pulls together her outfit.

Plain black pants are a warm and comfortable bottom for this outfit. Her brown boots are a staple in the wardrobe of most Fashionistas. The brown boots look cute with everything, especially the look you see here. Gold accents on the boots and bag complete the look.

One Simple Change: If you’re taking a short trip over the weekend, make the change from this Fashionista’s stylish boots to a pair of boots more suitable for snow. Then you’ll have a weekend wear outfit that is ready to hit the slopes!
