WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

March 11th, 2015 at 2:00am

It’s the middle of winter and you are unsure of what to wear to fight the cold weather. Bundling up and staying trendy can be a hard thing to do when it’s cold outside. I know I always want to look my cutest, but I’m sure some of you are asking: how do you do that when you have so many layers on? The answer is simple—pick pieces that don’t require much layering and can be versatile in your closet.

This Fashionista is sporting the perfect cold weather outfit. We can see every element of her look and while it may be 30 degrees outside, she is still able to stay cute and warm. Her look is perfect for a day when you are on the go and running errands around town. She is wearing high-waisted lounge pants that are slim-fitting and flattering to her figure. The color of the lounge pants makes them very versatile and easy to pair with any color and style. They are made of a thick sweater material so she is guaranteed warmth on a cold day while out and about.

Her black studded booties take this look from casual loungewear to trendy on-the-go wear. She accessorizes her look with minimal silver jewelry to add some flair and to tie in the color of her pants. On top she has paired a black long sleeve shirt with a knee-length black cardigan. The style and thickness of this cardigan is perfect for bundling up. It’s also easy to take on and off in case you start to get a little warm from all the layers you have on.

Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you can’t dress up in the winter; remember to think outside the box. Like our Fashionista here, you can take loungewear and make it trendy for a day of running errands. Switch up your regular routine of yoga pants and jeans and go for a new trendy everyday look.

One Simple Change: You aren’t much of a loungewear person? That’s okay. Throw on your favorite jeggings to get that warm and trendy look you want to achieve!
