WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

Welcome back to campus! Do you know what that means? Long walks to class in snow and freezing temperatures. At least that’s what it means if you’re in Kent, Ohio. How on earth can one look fashionable between buildings when Mother Nature put in a side order of puffy coats and bulky snow boots with her tormenting winter weather?

This Fashionista has the answer for all of you asking the same question. Her style makes a statement that proves she is no slave to the cold. This on-trend cheetah print coat is bold and stands out in the sea of black and gray that has swallowed campus along with the snow. Not to mention, the luxurious faux fur is soft and super warm. Her fringed black knitted scarf is a great addition and when paired with some comfy Dr. Martens, shows off a grungier aesthetic styling. I also love those indigo skinnies peeking out! The color is a great contrast to the coat and perfectly complements the entire look.

Feel free to follow along with this Fashionista. These pieces, while grungy, are still daring and feminine and are nicely grounded by the simple and universally-flattering silhouette. This look has so much personality; you could never go wrong with such a statement maker!

One Simple Change: You’re going out after your last class? For a great day to night switch, swap out the jeans and Dr. Martens with some simple black tights and booties. The cold weather won’t stand a chance and you’re sure to catch everyone’s eye with your fabulous sense of style!
