WHAT TO WEAR: Cold Weather

This has to be the most difficult time of the year to muster up the energy to get ready for school. With the frigid winds blowing in, trying to put together an outfit that is warm and stylish can be a difficult challenge. Luckily, this week’s Fashionista gives us some cool-toned outfit inspiration for the winter weather! A good coat can instantly make any outfit look polished without sacrificing any much needed warmth.

This Fashionista rocks this absolutely gorgeous, cobalt blue peacoat. With its cool structure, lapels and slim fit, it adds the chic look of a blazer while incorporating the warmth of a thick winter coat. If there is any way to keep warm this winter, it is definitely all about the layers. For the rest of her look, this Fashionista adds a patterned shift dress, chunky infinity scarf, black tights and tall, camel colored boots. She keeps her accessories simple with a mixture of gold and silver accents, completing the look.

Despite how freezing it can be before that dreaded morning class, it’s easy to create an outfit that is stylish and rad, but still keeps you warm! I am loving jewel-toned peacoats and they are an easy accessory that makes every outfit look fabulous.

One Simple Change: Looking for a way to wear your winter coat for a girl’s night out without overly bundled up? Try adding a pair of dark skinny jeans and heels! By keeping the bottom half slender and sleek, it balances out the thickness of any winter coat, making it a great way to go out and still keep warm.
