WHAT TO WEAR: Class

As a fashion student on campus, I feel a lot of pressure to always look good when I attend my fashion classes. I want to look cute and presentable without compromising comfort. Especially when I have class at 8:00 a.m. Leggings and a cute T-shirt is always a go-to outfit for me, but sometimes it’s fun to mix it up. Also, with the transition from summer to fall, it’s hard to decide what to wear to class because the weather is constantly changing in upstate New York.

This Fashionista caught my eye on her way to class. She took a simple knit dress from Francesca’s and dressed it up with accessories. Her outfit is flowy and comfortable, which is perfect for class or running around campus. Although her dress it simple, her accessories spice up the outfit to make it more fun. Midi rings are very trendy this season. Don’t be afraid to mix metals like this Fashionista did. She added a long silver necklace from American Eagle Outfitters to her look. The tortoise shell sunglasses are perfect for blocking out the sun while walking to class. They also give the outfit a retro feel and display this Fashionista’s style perfectly. Walking around campus can be dreadful if you don’t have the right shoes. This Fashionista paired her dress with her favorite sandals to ensure maximum comfort for the day. She completed her outfit with a tote bag from MANGO, which is perfect for carrying books and other necessities around campus. Every college girl needs a large tote to shove all her extra stuff in.

One Simple Change: Done with class and want to grab dinner with your friends? Substitute sandals for a pair of bright colored pumps to dress up the outfit. Adding heels turns this dress from casual to sophisticated.
