WHAT TO WEAR: Class

I have learned many things during my college career, but one very important tip I would like to share is as follows: planning an outfit the night before your 9:00 a.m. is never an option. The weather in upstate New York is rarely predictable and ever-changing in the fall months, so going to bed dreaming of those gladiator sandals and your favorite romper may be unrealistic when you wake up to a surprise downpour outside your window. Although many college students would retreat to their rain jackets and leggings, this Fashionista wasn’t going to let a dreary day rain on her parade.

Heading off to class is always easier when you know you’re lookin’ good, so putting in those few extra minutes to assemble an outfit like this shouldn’t be too much of a bother. This Fashionista’s tweed top and black jeans go perfectly with her eye-catching sneakers. Slip-ons have been all the rage for a while now, so getting your hands on a pair like these will be sure to spice up your fall wardrobe. While her shoes come in a close second, this beautiful bag takes the cake for most coveted piece of the outfit. Great bags are sometimes hard to come by, but when you have one as versatile as this in your lineup, it should never be too hard to pick which one to bring along on the fashion show of life.

One Simple Change: If you just finished up with class for the day and you’ve got to be out the door in five to make it to your internship, one way to get that sophisticated look you’re going for is to throw on a pair of black heels to complete the outfit.
