WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Dressing for class can be quite the challenge for any college student seeking out a balanced lifestyle. Does one opt for a big T-shirt and sweatpants to match their morning feels or does one attempt a more charming look to impress that certain someone two seats over? If you’re anything like me, you may even throw on yoga pants, a fitted workout T-shirt and running shoes, even though the gym is most likely not part of the schedule. Although mornings can get a little hectic, there is no reason to run late to class due to a wardrobe dilemma. There is one solution to all our early morning apparel complications and that is the classic “comfy and cute” look.

Putting together an outfit for class can be simple, effortless and not result in an “I just got out of bed, please don’t look at me”- type ensemble. Who ever said that people couldn’t dress comfy AND cute? Ever since I started college this summer, comfortable and affordable have become the words that I live by. My go-to outfits for class are normally compiled of convenient basics such as soft shorts and a cotton tank top. Typically, I’ll add unique accessories, such as layered necklaces and trendy sunglasses to bring character to my outfit.

This Fashionista is showing exactly how you can be comfortable, affordable and still look incredibly trendy. She is wearing a T-shirt dress, with stylish snakeskin sneakers and a chunky, statement necklace to complete her look. T-shirt dresses are the perfect go-to outfit for class because they are a comfortable fit and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. You can’t go wrong!

One Simple Change: Oftentimes, students find themselves running from their last class to a variety of social events. Usually changing in between these occasions just isn’t an option, but it doesn’t have to be. Going with an outfit that is simple and effortless makes it easy to wear in any situation. This outfit for example, could be dressed up for a dinner date by switching the backpack out for a clutch, and the sneakers for wedges. Apply a dark lip color to pull it all together and you’re good for the night!
