WHAT TO WEAR: Class

July 6th, 2015 at 2:10am

Here at the University of South Florida we are well into summer vaca…ehm class… which means three things: the summer heat is hotter than ever, you’re starting to get comfortable with your classmates and instead of being stuck in a classroom, you would rather be at the beach. Even if all of these prove to be true, it doesn’t mean you’re class attire should suffer.

This Fashionista shows us how to flawlessly conquer these summertime class woes. To help beat the Florida heat, she has on a flowy, lightweight romper, which is perfect for a hot summer day full of classes. Rocking pieces with lightweight and breathable fabric is a surefire way to survive the sweltering Florida sunshine. At this point, you’re probably buddy-buddy with your summer classmates, but that doesn’t mean your personal style should fall to the back burner. Use class time as a place to show off your style to your closest friends; don’t use it as the place to show off your favorite free T-shirt and running shorts. For this Fashionista, she shows off her personal style with the help of her accessories.

Around her waist, this Fashionista adds a bit of glamour to her look. She pairs a beautiful metal belt with her romper; this juxtaposition of textiles is a great way to switch up a look. For jewelry, this Fashionista keeps it simple with a handful of mix and matched bangles and a super cute Michael Kors watch. To finish off her look, she has on a pair of strappy, brown leather sandals.

One Simple Change: This Fashionista is a master when it comes to beating the summer heat, this makes her look a go-to outfit for your next family vacation. Rock it as a bathing suit cover-up on the beach or with your favorite wedges for a night exploring the town.
