WHAT TO WEAR: Class

June 25th, 2015 at 2:10am

If you’re not one of the lucky ones taking—dare I say it—summer classes, you will not understand the real struggle of getting up on a Monday in June trying to find a spark of motivation to put yourself together in the morning or even fathoming the idea of looking cute for your 9:00 a.m. college algebra class. I mean, have you ever tried to put on mascara at 7:00 a.m. during a summer month? Most of the time it’s a toss up—do you do your hair or your makeup? It’s the price you have to pay when you hit the snooze button for the third time. And when you’re in a time crunch such as this, you need a stylish go to that’s easy to throw on probably while you’re simultaneously brushing your teeth.

This Fashionista has some how found a way to cope and put together a very stylish outfit on the run! The key to the look is a vibrant, printed top. When you have this, you don’t need much else to rock your campus. This Fashionista chose a nice blue, purple and red tank paired with cuffed black shorts. Giving her a breezy boho look. Her accessories were spot on and really helped to top off her outfit. Since the pattern of the tank top was quite bold, this Fashionista brought a little extra flair to her ensemble with minimalistic accent pieces such as her triangle pendant necklace and flirty ankle bracelet.

Sensible but cute shoes are a must on campus; this Fashionista chose a pair of buckled black sandals that complete her outfit perfectly. But if you have a longer walk to class, you might want to go with more cushioned support. For that, I would recommend a cute pair of white or black Vans.

One Simple Change: Need to let some stress out after class? Take this look from day to night by simply swapping out the black shorts for a pair of light wash skinny jeans and a pair of nude strappy heels, preferably ones with spiked embellishments. Because if you don’t know me by now, I love to add that little extra edge to any feminine outfit.
