WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Summer classes can be totally boring, but your outfit doesn’t have to be! This Fashionista is on her way to class looking absolutely fabulous. Finding a mix between aesthetic appeal and comfort is key. Going to class is almost like going to a day party; there is always tons of people so you want to look put together. In contrast, you also want to be comfortable walking to class and sitting in class for sometimes hours at a time.

The Fashionista’s outfit is the ideal combination of style and ease. She wears her black Vans, balloon style pants and a white sweater. While accessorizing, this Fashionista added a simple gold necklace, a few bracelets and her black leather tote to carry more books and class items. This Fashionista also added her leather jacket and umbrella on this cold, rainy spring day.

Another key element I loved within her outfit was her neutral, monochromatic tones. I myself am a sucker for whites, creams, grays and blacks. Although it is spring, don’t forget that these colors are classic, and the right balance between them can make for a very chic and well established look. We can find various amounts of attention to black and white detail in the spring 2015 runway shows. These runway shows include Alexander Wang, Lacoste and Versace.

One Simple Change: This outfit would also be great if this Fashionista was meeting with some friends after class for dinner or for a night downtown. In this way, this look could be a perfect day to night selection by changing the shoes to heels or wedges and by adding on more jewelry to dress up this look.
