WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Getting ready and going to class can sometimes be a very difficult thing to do, especially on those beautiful summer days when you’d rather be spending time in the sun. Other times, if you’re like me, it’s easy to want to sleep in and leave yourself with only a few minutes to get dressed and head to class. It can be tempting to throw on a baggy T-shirt and shorts just before you rush out the door, but putting together a cute, comfortable outfit doesn’t have to be as hard as you think.

Take this Fashionista for example. Remember that T-shirt that you were thinking about grabbing? This girl takes that T-shirt to the next level: the T-shirt dress. T-shirt dresses are not only super comfortable, but they’re also stylish at the same time. Plus, the best part is, there’s no need for matching pants or shorts to complete the outfit, so once you choose the dress, you’re basically done! This Fashionista picked a neutral gray T-shirt dress with black and white stripes that she got from 2020ave.com. The different colors of the stripes make the dress unique, while the silhouette is simple and effortless.

Adding to her simple T-shirt dress, this Fashionista tied a plaid flannel shirt around her waist, making the dress feel a bit edgier. The flannel gives more of a shape to the dress, accentuating her figure by cinching the dress in at her waist. Not only that, but it adds some color to the look and is a fun way to mix patterns within the outfit. Pattern mixing can sometimes be tricky, but this look is a perfect example of how to do it! Finally, to complete the ready-for-class look, this Fashionista chose some comfortable white sandals that are great for walking across campus. They keep the look casual and are easy to slip on before heading to class.

Overall, looks like this one are a great way to study in style and they’re also a great way to cut down time wondering what to wear in the morning. I think T-shirt dresses are the perfect way to look put-together with minimal effort and maximum comfort, two things I am all for when it comes to what to wear to class.

One Simple Change: Just got done with classes for the day and now it’s time to get ready for a night out with the girls? Stay comfy in your T-shirt dress, but dress it up a bit by adding a statement necklace and some heeled sandals. If you’re feeling more adventurous, take off the flannel and throw on a leather jacket, you’ll turn heads wherever you go!
