WHAT TO WEAR: Class

We’re several weeks into second semester and, at this point, looking cute for class can seem like an effort that just takes too much time and energy. However, dressing well and putting a little extra work into your appearance can help you feel more prepared and focused to face the day. Luckily, looking nice doesn’t have to take a lot of time from your morning routine. In fact, it probably just takes a few simple changes from what you’re already doing.

This Fashionista looks chic and ready to take on anything the world might throw her way. At first glance, her outfit looks like something that may have taken a lot of effort to put together. However, you’ll notice that she simply dressed up classic jeans and riding boots with a nice coat and a patterned scarf. Additionally, her painted tote gives her look a whimsical touch that offsets the darker tones of her outfit quite nicely. With her hair pulled back into a loose bun, she’s ready to go.

As we all know, the colder months of January and February are not the most ideal for looking trendy. We often feel burdened by layers of warmth, hiding our style under parkas and winter boots. Even I am known to choose comfort over fashion when it comes to a frigid winter day.

However, this Fashionista has shown us that it really is easy to look cute with the right accessories, no matter how gloomy the day might be. Take her look and make it your own by styling your usual jeans with a dressier coat and playful scarf to master style and comfort all at once.

One Simple Change: If you want to make this look even nicer, try it out with a pair of heeled booties rather than riding boots to add a touch of sophistication.
