WHAT TO WEAR: Class

Winter break has come to an end and school is back in session. While it’s sad to say goodbye to family, holiday fun and days of relaxation, the first week of classes is an exciting time for Fashionistas/os. Not only do we have the chance to wear our new holiday purchases, but it also gives us the chance to make a first impression. Our fashion for the first week is a great way to make a statement about who we are to our new professors and classmates.

The below freezing temperatures did not stop this Fashionista from making a fashion statement about herself. She nails a chic and casual look to show off her creative and relaxed yet focused attitude towards the semester. Her light distressed jeans complement her long tribal print sweater to create the perfect boho vibe. This outfit can take a Fashionista comfortably throughout her entire day from early morning classes to late work hours. Being comfortable in your clothes is extremely important, especially at the beginning of a semester while you adjust to your new schedule. She proves that comfort doesn’t mean you have to throw style out the window.

A pair of reddish brown leather combat boots and knit socks finish off the look. For large campuses that require a lot of walking, combat boots are a great choice. They are not only stylish, but they also have a strong sole to help trek up hills and stairs without tripping. Earthy dangly earrings and nude lip gloss pull the entire look together and set this outfit apart from just a sweater and jeans. This Fashionista shows us how to put together the perfect casual but cool back to school outfit.

One Simple Change: Do you have a dinner date scheduled with your girlfriends after class to celebrate? Just throw on your favorite pair of wedges or booties and you are ready for a night out with the girls.
