WHAT TO WEAR: Class

College life can be pretty hectic sometimes. Between long nights at the library and early morning classes, going to school in style can slip to the bottom of the priority list. Even if you plan on rolling back in bed after your 9 o’clock class, you don’t have to dress like it.

This Fashionista put together her favorite wardrobe staples to create an effortless look for class. She wears an adjustable sleeve blouse that can be rolled up for the warmer weather outside and rolled down to combat chilly classrooms. The deep neckline hem allows her to accessorize with a dainty necklace but is still slightly shallow and modest. Her navy blue blouse is paired with black, fitted skinny jeans that can take her from the classroom to an after school job to a dinner date later in the evening. They are also the perfect bottoms for walking around campus and sitting through long lectures in.

My favorite aspect of this ensemble are her tan accessories. The vintage cross-body bag is a great swap from a heavy backpack, especially when you don’t feel like carrying your whole life in one bag. The matching suede ankle boots elongate her legs and take this casual look to the next level.

Who knows, maybe a little extra effort in the morning can lead to a more productive day. No matter what you decide to wear, make sure to dress in your own personal style. After all, college is a time for finding and expressing yourself.

One Simple Change: A long day of classes can make the smallest heels feel like stiletto pumps. Substitute the booties for a pair of flats to make studying in the library a little more comfortable.
