Monday through Friday we all scurry to put together the perfect outfit for class. Some opt for simplicity while others like to play around with different combos. Whatever “your thing” is own it. Remember your campus is your runway. On my way to my art class I ran into this Fashionista who, in my opinion, looked great despite having class all day—I loved it!
From the tribal African print top to the riding pants, I couldn’t help but to stop her dead in her tracks. There was something so eclectic about this HU student that I just couldn’t resist. The accessories were perfect and the copper-colored knee-length boot added a subtle touch. It all looked effortless. That’s the beauty of this thing we call fashion; it doesn’t matter what you wear but how you wear it.
I know sometimes having late classes (who am I kidding, classes at all!) can be sort of a drag, but remember looking nice for the day may give you that extra something to push through. In the end I try to think of it this way, we are only on these campuses temporarily, so we must make our mark while we are here. You want to be remembered right? Oh yes you do and upon every great thing you have done and will do in your collegiate career let them say “and she looked great doing it!” Have fun at class guys until next Thursday!
ONE SIMPLE CHANGE: Kick off those boots and put on some fierce heels (you guys know I am a heels type of girl), and get ready for anything put in front of you. If you want to go a little edgier, throw on a maroon maxi skirt, tuck in the top, add a cute jacket and some wedges and you are ready for date night, shopping, an event or anything you decide to prance into.
