The weather in Boston right now has left many students in a state of flux about what to wear to class. While we seem to get closer to spring weather, we are still experiencing some downright cold temperatures and even snow. Today’s Fashionisto was spotted on one of our warmer days on campus, though, when no scarves or winter coats were needed.
During this in-between season of weather, today’s Fashionisto is all about layering. Many of the classrooms on campus do not have air conditioning or heating, which can prove troublesome when dressing for class. While it might be difficult to gauge how warm or cold the classroom might be, this Fashionisto comes prepared layered in a basic American Apparel T-shirt (like this one) under a button-down shirt and Columbia fleece jacket. The layers keep him warm inside the classroom, but make it easy to peel off if he decides to soak up the sun on his walk across campus instead of taking the bus.
Hailing from the sunshine state of Florida, this Fashionisto is ready to put the cold weather behind him for good by breaking out his whites again. His classic Gap button-down shirt with green pinstripes is ready to go for spring picnics or summer beach parties. Try a white, pinstriped button-down like this one to help add some spring to your step, too.
One Simple Change: When the weather really starts to kick up, today’s Fashionisto can’t wait to swap his jeans for a pair of colorful shorts, like this one from Vineyard Vines. Add a pair of sunglasses, and you’re good to go.
