Class is usually the last place I want to be. I would rather be spending time with my friends or in my bed than having to listen to my professors talk for three hours and getting stuck with even more homework than I already have. However, it is the whole reason why we’re here and skipping class is like throwing hundreds of dollars down the toilet, so it’s probably better that we go.
I always find myself stalling getting ready for class, thinking that the longer I stall the longer I won’t have to go. I’ve learned that this is not the case and it turns into me feeling self-conscious in class because I rushed to get ready in five minutes. When I actually take time to get ready and look nice for class, I find myself participating more and making more friends in my classes. As a fashion student, walking into your class anything less than perfect is unacceptable. Believe me, on those lazy days I’ve walked into class and been judged and shunned immediately, so looking good for class is something I strive for.
Looking your best doesn’t mean you have to take two hours to get ready everyday. You can dress casually while still looking classy and put together. This Fashionista does just that by wearing comfortable dark skinny jeans and a classic black wool coat. Also, having her purse and boots both be black help her achieve a very clean look. Her coat has gold zippers that really make the coat stand out and gives it something unique. As it gets warmer, bomber jackets are going to be a huge trend this season! Make sure to get yours and have another thing to look forward to with warmer weather.
This outfit is the best of both worlds by being both easy to copy and super cute. Hopefully, with this look it will be a little bit easier (and faster) to get up and go to class!
One Simple Change: Put a nice top underneath the peacoat and you can be on your way to an interview for a new job or internship!
